ARPA ETA Assistance

Energy Assistance Program
On November 4, 2021, the Seminole Nation of Oklahoma General Council approved a one-time appropriation of $500,000.00 from the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 to the Emergency Tribal Assistance Program for the purposes of emergency energy assistance for the anticipated winter season and energy inflation costs. Tribal Resolution 2021-59.

The Energy Assistance Program started on November 22, 2021 and will continue until the one-time appropriation of funds has been exhausted. If requesting firewood the firewood vendor quote, as well as a W9 must be completed. Applications will not be processed electronically. This program is available to Seminole Nation Tribal members in and out of state.

BREAKING NEWS - ADDITIONAL FUNDS MADE AVAILABLE

On April 22, 2023 at a special meeting call, the Seminole Nation of Oklahoma General Council approved an additional appropriation up to $500,000.00 from the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 to the Emergency Tribal Assistance Program. Tribal Resolution 2023-22.
These additional funds were appropriated due to the funds from Tribal Resolution 2021-59 being exhausted. The additional funds will target those who were unable to take advantage of the assistance before the funds were exhausted and make tribal members living outside of Seminole County aware of this opportunity to participate in this program.

1. Applications will be accepted by mail, fax, or drop box located outside Social Services Office

2. Applications are available outside the Social Services Office

3. Applicants can call (405) 257-7200 option 2 then press 3 and request application be mailed to them.
